    3-Cups thinly sliced apples
    3Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4Cup white sugar
    1/4Cup brown sugar
    1Tsp. apple cider vinegar
    1/2 Tsp.cinnamon
    1/2tsp.nutmeg


    Pie Crust
    1 1/3Cup flour
    1/2Tsp.salt
    1/2Cup shorting
    3Tbsp. ice water

    Filling
    Cook apples 10 to 15 minutes in 2=3 Tbsp. water
    until tender add vinegar combin sugars , cornstarch , nutmeg ,
    cinnamon , an dash of salt , Add to cooked apples stir tell thick.

    Mix pie crust roll thin , may use bowl about 6=7 inchs in diameter
    cut circles drop 2 - 3 Tbsp apples on half of dough fold over and
    close with edge of fork. Poke holes in tops for steam .
    Brush with milk , sprinkle with sugar ,Bake 375 about 20 minutes

    You may also omit sprinkleing with sugar , an frost while warm.
