Russian Tea cakes

Russian Tea Cakes, also called Wedding cookies or Mexican wedding cookies or Snowballs


2 Cups butter (not margarine)
1 Cup powdered sugar
4 Cups flour
1 Cup nuts finely chopped (walnuts, pecans or cashews are best)
1tsp. vanilla


Cream butter and powdered sugar together
Add vanilla
Add flour and nuts a little at a time
Bake at 325 for 15 minutes.
They will still be pale.
When slightly cooled roll additional powdered sugar.

These are my favorite cookies. I can eat my weight in them so be very careful because they are adictive
