    Hi--
This is another old standby ....this is a quick and easy meal to prepare and is soooooooo good!
I have had this recipe forever (or at least it seems like it)! I have had it so long, I don't even remember where it came from, but it is a keeper and a great recipe to have if you are in a hurry and need something easy to make.
I brown the meat and onions and add the gravy and vegetables earlier in the day and set it aside ....they when you are ready to do the rest it will only be about 30 minutes till you set it on the table!
    Enjoy!
    hugs,

    Yorkshire Beef Pie

    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, thinly sliced
1/2 cup cooked vegetables (I use the small can of Veg-All)
1 (10-1/2 oz.) can beef gravy
    1/2 cup water
    1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
    2 TBSP butter
    1 cup milk
    2 eggs
    1 cup flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
In large skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender; drain. Add vegetables and 1/4 cup of the gravy. In a small saucepan, stir water and Worcestershire sauce into the remaining gravy and set aside. In a 10-inch pie plate, place butter (or margarine) and put in oven. Set oven at 425. Meanwhile, in small mixer bowl, combine milk and eggs; add flour, salt and pepper. Beat until mixture is smooth. Remove dish with butter from oven. Pour egg mixture into hot dish and spoon meat mixture evenly over bottom, keeping 1 inch from the edge. Return to oven and bake at 425 for 25 to 30 minutes or until browned and puffed. Heat gravy; pass with pie. Serve at once.
    YIELD: 4 servings.
