Sour Cream Noodle Bake

1 lb. ground beef
1 T. butter
1 t. salt
1/2 T. pepper
1/4 t. garlic salt
1 c. tomato sauce
1 c. cream style cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 pkg. med. noodles -- (8 oz.) cooked

Brown ground beef in butter in skillet, stirring until crumbly.
Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce, mixing well.
Simmer for 5 mins.
Combine remaining 5 ingredients in bowl, mixing well.
Layer noodle and ground beef mixture alternately in 2 qt. casserole
until all ingredients are used, ending with ground beef mixture.
Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 mins. or until bubbly.
Makes 8 servings.
