Cheese Yummies
2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 stick butter, softened
1 cup flour, sifted
1 cup toasted rice cereal (like Rice Chex)
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix cheese and butter together (I used an electric mixer). Add in flour until well mixed. Mix in the toasted rice cereal (not crushed, just crush a little with hands). Roll into walnut-sized balls. Place on cookie sheet (I lined my cookie sheets with parchment paper) and then press with a fork to flatten some. Bake for 15 minutes, cool and serve.
Makes about 3 dozen.
