    Hi--
This is absolutely wonderful...our pastor's wife made this for the prayer group we are in every Monday morning and she wanted us to meet at her house for breakfast/brunch and this is what she made. It is wonderful!!
    Hugs,
    Peg

    Overnight French Toast
    1 long loaf French bread
    5 eggs
    3/4 cup milk
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 TBSP vanilla
20 oz. package frozen nonsweetened strawberries
    4 bananas, sliced
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 TBSP apple pie spice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1. Cut bread into 8 thick slices and place in a greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
    2. Mix together the eggs, milk, baking powder and vanilla. Pour over bread and refrigerate overnight.
    3. Place frozen strawberries in bottom of another greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Lay banana slices on top of frozen fruit.
    4. Mix together the sugar and apple pie spice and sprinkle over strawberries.
    5. Arrange bread over top of strawberries and banana slices. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    6. Bake at 450 for 20-25 minutes or until crusty and brown.
