    fold paper in half and cut. Take one cut piece and fold in half. Now fold in half again.
    Start clipping pieces and design your snowflake....leave some of the folds uncut. Unfold your paper and you have designed a new snowflake doily......it takes some practice but you will achieve it....

    when finished attach a string and hang on the tree
