INGREDIENTS
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1 spoonful of white rum
1 spoonful of almond extract
2 ½ to 3 cups of flour
Warm the oven to 350 degrees. Oil two baking sheets.
In the electrick mixer mix the oil, butter, sugar, egg yolks, rum and almond extract until it is creamy. Then slowly add the flour.
Take the batter by spoonfuls and form small balls. Place them on the baking sheet leaving a one inch space between one "mantecadito" and another. Decorate the center with a piece of guava or candy dots pressing the center of each little ball and placing them there
