I may not be able to stop by in the morning and I promised to have this posted June 1st so I am posting this early.
This is the first block for a sampler quilt.
    Four Patch Snowball
You will find the directions here:
[Only admins are allowed to see this link]
Share what colors you are using, your progress and when possible, post a picture of your finished block.
Please feel free to ask any questions you have or trouble you have while creating th block. We are learning as we go and this is a great chance to learn new techniques and methods for creating blocks.

This is easy. It really is. Smile If you saw some of the other blocks that may be used later you too would say this is easy Wink

treat it like eating an elephant... one bite at a time. Read all the directions first, then take it one step at a time. Measure twice and cut once. Do not be afraid to mark the fabric, it really really is helpful.

I won't start my block until next thursday because I am swamped until then. But I will be able to help, offer suggestions and tips after that.

Here I am thinking how this could be easy, Bonnie, if the name is "Snowball Patch" and I can't see any snowballs in sight. Wondering minds (like mine) would like to know, LOL. Well, what I see looks easy enough, but I'm still wondering where are the snowballs? Wink

Material is washed and in the dryer, since they are little pieces I washed them in the bathroom sink. My background color is eggshell, my main color is a paisley lavendar with pink and contrast color is a matching pink. For my moms same eggshell and a bright pink with a yellow and pink butterfly print. I might change her's up and use the yellow as the main color.

I got two of my 3inch squares sewed onto 2 of my 51/2inch background, hopefully tomorrow I can finish up the others and I'll post a pic.
If you look at the whole quilt on the bottom of the page on the left side, you can kinda tell why it's called a snowball, it's packed on each side like you would if making a snowball! But honestly, you would think it would be round!
