Coca Cola Tomato Salad
From Class Cooking with Coca Cola cookbook
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 Cup sugar
1-1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 Cup vinegar
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 Cup cola cola
1/4 Cup catsup
1 Cup salad oil
1 head lettuce, shredded
1 tomato, cut in wedges
Combine all of the ingredients except the lettuce and tomato. Arrange lettuce on salad plate. Place tomato wedges on lettuce Serve with the dressing.
Note: The dressing may be blended and refrigerated, covered, for several hours.
