Ingredients:
3 eggs
2 cups hot milk
2-4 Tblsp. Sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Nutmeg or Vanilla (I use both)
Mix all ingredients together. Pour into custard cups. Place cups on a rack or folded paper towel in a heavy skillet. (I use my cast iron.) Pour hot water around cups to level of custard mixture. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 12 to 15 minutes until set. Let cool and enjoy.
