    Rice AuGratin
    1 C. hot cooked rice***
    1/2 C. shredded Cheddar cheese divided
    1 T. butter
    1/8 t. curry powder
    1/3 C. bread crumbs
    Preheat oven to 350. Grease baking dish. Toss rice with half of the cheese. Spoon into baking dish; top with remaining cheese. Bake 10-15 minutes or until cheese melts. Meanwhile, melt butter; stir in curry. Add bread crumbs and brown lightly Remove rice from oven; sprinkle with curried crumbs.

    *** I found that this really wasn't very much rice....It may really mean cook up 1 cup of raw rice which really turns into 3 cups of cooked rice. I think that I would at least make up 2 cups of cooked rice. It was enough for two people, but you would definitely need more for more than two. (Peg)
