Tangy Coleslaw
(Have been making this since 1970-71)
This tangy coleslaw is great used as a topping for pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers & even hot dogs!.
Ingredients:
1 cabbage, finely shredded or a 16-ounce package of shredded coleslaw mix
1 medium red onion, quartered and thinly sliced
(personally, I like this better without onion as a "side"; altho I do like the onion in it IF I am using this to top a hamburger or hot dog!)
Dressing:
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 cup vinegar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 medium red onion, quartered and thinly sliced
