Fudge Truffle Cheesecake
FILLING:
3 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (14-oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-oz.) package semisweet chocolate chips---melted
2 tsp. vanilla
CHOCOLATE CRUMB CRUST:
1-1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
Combine all ingredients.
Preheat oven to 300. Press crust into bottom of a 9" springform pan.
In a mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth, then add remaining ingredients. Pour into pan. Bake 1 hour and 5 minutes or until center is set. Cool. Chill for several hours or overnight. Garnish with whipped topping and shaved chocolate or sliced strawberries if desired.
