    RECIPE: CHEWY OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES

    Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Cookiesinglass

    INGREDIENTS:
    1 1/4 cups Butter
    1 teaspoon Baking soda
    3/4 cup Brown sugar
    1 teaspoon Salt
    1/2 cup Sugar
    1 teaspoon Cinnamon
    1 Egg
    1 teaspoon Vanilla
    3 cups quick cooking Oats
    1 1/2 cups All purpose flour
    1 cup Raisins

    DIRECTIONS:
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat margarine and sugars
    until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour,
    baking soda, salt and spices; mix well. Stir in oats and
    raisins. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased
    cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes and cool 2 minutes before
    transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in
    an airtight container.

    Yield: 3 Dozen
