    BANANA SHEET CAKE 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp vanilla
    1/2 c shortening scant tsp. salt
    2 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sour cream 2 c. flour
    3 ripe bananas, mashed

    FROSTING:
    1/4 c. melted margarine 3 tblsp sour cream or milk
    2 c. powdered sugar

    Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and sour cream. Mix well. Add bananas and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Spread in a jelly roll pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Beat the frosting ingredients well and put on top of the Banana Sheet Cake.
