how is everybody doing?

I think Debbie is doing this with us as well. If I know she is ready I could post the next step tonight.

I just worked on it for the first time....3 hours straight....first week done...I'll start the second week tomorrow after I get back from the beach...can't wait to find out what I'm doin'...lol

ok Dawn...'notha question....when we do the dc's...we do front lps...right...but the wordin' makes me think I have to go down 2 rows?

All double crochets [dc] are made in front lps of sts in second Row from one being worked on

Flipping fudge monkeys!!!! Mine is all wrong because I did it in the wrong row! yes it should be down two rows, however it can work by using the the row under. (I am not ripping mine out, LOL) Turns out this pattern may be more forgiving than I thought

I am going to post the next steps in just a few minutes so be on the lookout

How's it going?

I'm ready for the next time, but I think I might run out of wool.

Are you using planned colors or going scrappy?
My plan was to work on this after work today BUT I just wlked in the door and decided I would check here while I unwind and then just go to bed.

A little bit of both. I have two colours that I have a lot of, so I'm thinking I might do one colour more than once.

Can you tell me if according to the pattern, do we use all three colours being hitting the main?

I'm almost done week 2...should be caught up by Saturday night

Ok this wil be hard to explain without giving away too much. The 'Main' color is actually used the least but will help you figure out what row you are on. A functional stitch marker if you will. Once we have used all the colors we will use the 'main' color for one row. You will need three skeins of it IF you opt to continue for a full size. I personally am hoping my 1 and a half skeins will be enough because I am going for half size.

My cute sweet antisocial cuddle bug of a puppy did a HUGH no-no last night and to compound what she did, my project was ruined!

Last night hubby HAD to get gas for his truck and the store he wanted to go to has had loooooong lines. They are seling gas for $3.47 when everywhere else it is $3.69. So durinng dinner he got a call that it was empty for the moment and to hurry in. So he put his plate on the coffee table and headed out the door. I started working in my mystery when he walks in and tells me to follow him and he will pump the gas for my car as well. So I put the project down on the couch... See where this is going??
Precious decided her dog food did not taste as good as our dinner smelled....
We come home to his plate knocked off the table, his dinner completely gone and her chewing on the mystery. I was able to tell she had placed the chicken parmeson onto the mystery while she ate it. So between her chewing and the tomato stains... I tossed it and started over.
I am now on row 3 again and the puppy is still in troube with me. She is in bigger troube with hubby as he never did get to finish his dinner as there was just enough for everyone to have one serving.

Ready for a new clue?

I'm still on week 3...almost ready for week 4 tho

all caught up...done this weeks too!...wow...it's so pretty...I'll take a pic tomorrow and show it off...surprised me that I went so fast with it

I will start on Color 1 after Stormi picks up Damion today. Too hard to play with him and count as I crochet

I gave a new clue for today. Let me know when you are caught up and I will give a new clue. I am on row 14 right now but hope to get caught up tonight.

The pattern suggests making it to Size: 60" x 40" BUT when it is as long as YOU want it to be you work your way back to Row 6 ten add rows 1-5 to finish it off

Eric is all excited about mine. He is so impressed with it he keeps asking me to try to get one more row done so he can see how it is progressing. My own personal cheerleader right in the house
