We had this for dinner last night and it was sooooooooooo good!! I served it over a baked potato instead of toast. If you have some leftover chicken or turkey this is a really good and quick way to use it up.

Chicken A La King
"From Our Home to Yours"

2004
1/4 cup Butter
1/2 cup Diced Green Peppers
1/2 cup Onion
3/4 cup Milk
1 can Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Chicken Soup**
2 cups cooked and chopped Chicken ***
3/4 cup shredded Cheese of your choice
1/4 cup diced Pimentos
In a skillet over medium heat, cook green peppers and onion in butter until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in soup and milk, blend well. stir in chicken, cheese and pimentos. Cook 5 minutes or until heated through.
Serve over toast or biscuits
For variety, serve over split baked potatoes, cooked noodles, rice, shredded and cooked Zucchini or Spaghetti Squash
** Cream of Asparagus or celery can also be used.
*** Ham, Turkey or sausage may be substituted for the meat.
