    Hey! its me, Patricia. i'm hosting the new craft. so, here are the supplies you need:

    different colours of yarn or wool

    book that is same size of doll and arms

    scissors

    glue

    beads and pipe cleaners (optional)

    We usually knitted worsted wool, like Red Heart super saver, but you can use any type of wool you like. Also, we used books to wrap the wool around, so choose books that are the sizes you would like the body and the arms to be. We used to wrap it around our arms, but sometimes our arms would be tired and then your arm would droop and the wool wouldn't be the same length.

    Hard cover keeps it a little more sturdy, but either works.

    well Bekkie, we are making yarn dolls. you can use them as decoations or gifts. in pioneer time, the made dolls out of corn husks. so, me and my mom(Lisa) made dolls out of yarn/wool instead of corn husks.sunny

    I remember my mom teaching my girl guide company and myself how to make them. Patricia has been making these for years. I just wanted to include her this month.
